Projects

At Dialektika, we are dedicated to advancing critical thinking and intellectual growth through a range of projects that connect philosophy, culture, and technology. Our initiatives aim not only to disseminate knowledge but also to create spaces for reflection, dialogue, and collective transformation.

1. Digital Magazine

Exploring ideas that shape our world.

Our bilingual digital magazine publishes essays, reflections, and analyses in the social sciences and humanities. It bridges academic thought and the general public, transforming complex ideas into accessible narratives. Through this platform, we foster a culture of reflection that transcends borders, inviting readers to engage with global issues from multiple perspectives.

2. Academic Journals

A forum for philosophical and social inquiry.

Dialektika oversees two academic publications that uphold rigorous editorial and ethical standards:

  • Dialektika: Journal of Philosophical Research and Social Theory (ISSN 2707-3386) — a peer-reviewed journal publishing original research in philosophy, social theory, and related fields. It promotes critical dialogue among scholars and contributes to the global debate on humanism, technology, and society.
  • Revista Publicando (1390-9304) — an established open-access journal focused on the humanities, social sciences, and education. Indexed in international databases such as EBSCO, ERIH-PLUS, REDIB, and MIAR, it serves as a platform for researchers and educators across Latin America, Europe, and beyond.

Together, these journals embody Dialektika’s commitment to intellectual exchange and the democratization of knowledge.

3. Book Publishing

Amplifying critical voices through books.

Through Dialektika, we publish original works that explore philosophy, culture, politics, and technology. Our catalogue includes both academic and public-facing titles, available in print and digital formats. Each publication seeks to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and to make critical thought accessible to diverse audiences.
From collective essays to monographs and anthologies, our publishing program supports emerging and established authors who help rethink the challenges of our time.

4. Montessori Collaboration

Learning to think critically from an early age.

In partnership with Colegio Montessori Cartagena, the Aprendo creando (“Learning by Creating”) project encourages students to explore philosophical, technological, and scientific questions through essay writing. This initiative nurtures analytical and creative skills, cultivating future generations of reflective thinkers who see learning as an act of freedom and curiosity.

5. Translations

Bringing knowledge across languages and cultures.

Dialektika promotes cross-cultural understanding by translating educational, academic, and philosophical materials. Our pro-bono translation efforts extend the reach of critical thought, making it accessible to broader audiences. Our texts have been featured in outlets such as The Conversation, Yahoo, and The Caledonian Record, contributing to a global dialogue on knowledge and culture.

6. Dialektika GPTs

Artificial Intelligence for philosophical exploration.

The Dialektika GPTs are AI-driven models designed to assist readers, students, and researchers in navigating complex philosophical and social theories. These models provide guided insights into the works of major thinkers, fostering a more profound understanding and interdisciplinary learning. By merging critical thought with technological innovation, we explore how AI can serve as a tool for education, dialogue, and creativity.

7. Dialektika Lab (Upcoming)

An experimental space for ideas, technology, and society.

Dialektika Lab will be a creative and research hub where philosophy meets digital innovation. The lab will host collaborative projects on AI ethics, digital citizenship, decolonial thought, and the phenomenology of technology — inviting academics, artists, and technologists to co-create new approaches to social transformation.

8. Global Forum and Events

Connecting thinkers and communities worldwide.

Dialektika organizes seminars and virtual dialogues that connect scholars, students, and the general public. These events foster interdisciplinary collaboration and promote critical engagement with contemporary challenges — from democracy and climate to culture and technology — strengthening a global network of reflective and creative voices.
