Dialektika contributed to the 1st International Meeting on Philosophy, Diverse Experiences, and Plural Contexts, held August 20-22 at the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia (UPTC) in Tunja. This event provided a platform to present the outcomes of Dialektika’s educational project, “Aprendo Creando,” showcasing its commitment to educational innovation and academic excellence.
On August 20, Gabriel Torres Beregovenko, coordinator of the project, delivered a presentation titled “Developing Philosophical and Research Competencies through the Three Montessori Periods in a Digital Magazine with 10th and 11th Graders at Montessori School of Cartagena.” The talk emphasized how the Montessori-inspired pedagogical strategies and ICT resources provided by Dialektika Magazine are driving innovation in education, highlighting the role of digital platforms in elevating educational standards.
Dialektika Magazine demonstrates that a digital publication can foster both high-quality learning and active student participation in research. The project supports the belief that educational innovation depends on teachers who embrace new learning environments and encourage students to produce publishable research.
Over the three-day event, various presentations explored social and cultural challenges from diverse philosophical perspectives, connecting regional and international viewpoints. Topics included political philosophy, social philosophy, education, aesthetics, hermeneutics, and philosophical anthropology. Standout presentations included Professor Yosnier Rojas Capote’s “Foundational Hermeneutics of Symbolic Imagination in Response to the Colonizing Reason of the West”; Professor Camilo Andrés Diagama Briceño’s “Micropolitics and Social Change”; and Professor Gustavo Burgos Heise’s “From Academia to the Community: Keys to a Successful Project,” representing the University of La Serena in Chile and the Social Action Corporation, Cadena de Favores.
The meeting concluded with a presentation of the International Network of Philosophy of Plural Contexts (RED) and a panel discussion on “Popular Pedagogies in Latin America,” led by Professor Dulce Milagros Niebla. Through its participation, Dialektika reaffirmed its dedication to advancing educational innovation, fostering critical thinking, and building new avenues for research and academic production.
