“Dimensiones de la Tecnología en el Siglo XXI”: New Anthology on Technology’s Influence in Philosophy and Culture Presented in Puebla

On October 31, as part of Puebla’s II International Congress of Art and Philosophy, the Center for Philosophical-Cultural Studies (CEFC) introduced the digital anthology Dimensiones de la Tecnología en el Siglo XXI: Filosofía, Cultura, y Antropología. Hosted at Kaffeehaus Stieglitz, the event attracted academics and enthusiasts eager to explore how technology reshapes culture, society, and philosophy from a transdisciplinary perspective.

A collaboration between CEFC and DIALEKTIKA from Serbia, the anthology features essays by scholars worldwide. It is divided into three sections:

  1. Philosophy of Technology and Subjectivity
  2. Media, Culture, and Aesthetics
  3. Biopolitics, Techno-Capitalism, and Education

These sections provide deep analyses of the intersection between humanity and technology, reflecting on how digital advancements are transforming our cultural practices and ways of life.

Edited by Amanda R. Pérez Morales, Gary M. Gómez Espinoza, Jorge González Arocha, and Rayner García Hernández, this collection is a vital resource for anyone interested in understanding technology’s evolving role in society. Attendees were encouraged to download the anthology for free via the official link provided by CEFC.
